Technical Information

  • Adds water repellency
  • Prolongs life and performance of all fabric and leather combination footwear
  • Ideal for footwear with breathable linings e.g. Gore-Tex
  • Can be used on wet footwear
  • Easy to apply - available in spray-on or sponge-on formats. Can be used indoors unlike solvent based sprays
  • WaterBased - environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non flammable, non hazardous
  • Does not contain fluorocarbons

Ideal For

  • All fabric and leather combination footwear (work, fashion, leisure and sports)
  • Safe to use on footwear with breathable membranes e.g. Gore-Tex, SympaTex, eVENT etc

How to Apply

  • Brush off dirt with a damp cloth and clean using Nikwax® Footwear Cleaning Gel.
  • Shake well before use. Press sponge applicator to break seal.
  • Apply generously to wet footwear.
  • After 2 minutes, remove surplus with a cloth and allow to dry before use.

Note:Light/coloured fabric and leather may darken after treatment. Test on a hidden area first.

When to Use

Always apply this product to used footwear to keep them in perfect condition. Use Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel before waterproofing footwear and to maintain reproofed items regularly clean with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel
