Headline:

Snow showers in northern Scotland and eastern England.

Today:

Cold north to northwesterly winds will bring snow showers to northern Scotland, East Anglia and some other North Sea coastal areas. Southern and western areas, generally cloudy with patchy and chiefly light rain. Mainly dry and bright elsewhere.

Tonight:

Snow showers in the east will die away. Many areas frosty for a time, although a mixture of snow and rain will move in from the west, bringing icy conditions.

Sunday:

Early rain and snow in the east will soon clear away to leave a windy day with bright or sunny intervals and scattered blustery showers.
