    The SILVA Expedition Series is for experienced users and professionals. The Expedition series has been a global leader when it comes to accuracy, precision and durability for many years. The SILVA Expedition Series comes with two completely new features: a Slope card and a Scale lanyard.

    SILVA Expedition features easy-handling Dryflex™ housing, silicon rubber feet for precision map work, detachable safety-release lanyard, night-enabling luminous markings, magnifying lens, a clinometer for measuring slope angle, map-measuring scales in mm or inches, 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and GPS scales, plus built-in adjusters for magnetic declination (including permanent local adjustment). The Expedition can also map-measure 1:40,000.

    The slope card is great both for detecting avalanche risk and for determining how challenging your journey will be. By knowing the slope you can also judge any extra distance that you need to go due to the slope. The scale lanyard has two scales on it; 1:25, and 1:50, which facilitates to measure the distance of your hike. Since its soft and bendable it’s easy to place it directly on to your route on the map. The new graphics contain a more distinct arrow (Expedition) and also a more contemporary font.

    If you are in need of a traditional baseplate compass with high-end features, the Expedition should be your choice.

    Standard Delivery

    Orders Under £35 - £5.00

    Orders over £35.01 – FREE to all UK post codes

    All UK orders are delivered using Royal Mail Signed For – a signature is required upon receipt.  Orders placed before 12:00 will be dispatched the same day – subject to stock availability.  Standard delivery takes 2-3 working days.

    Premium Delivery

    Need a speedy delivery?  For an additional £10, select our Premium Service and your order is guaranteed to be with you by 1pm the following day.  We use Royal Mail Next Day Delivery – a signature is required upon receipt.  Orders must be placed by 12:00 the previous day – subject to stock availability.  This service is not guaranteed over public or bank holidays - your order would be dispatched on the first working day.  Select our Premium Service at checkout.

    Worldwide Delivery

    We ship to a number of countries outside of the UK.  Prices vary (see chart) depending on destination.  Delivery normally takes 5-10 working days.  A Premium Service is not available outside the UK.

    Please note: We operate Monday – Friday only, excluding Bank Holidays.  Orders placed after 12:00 on a Friday will not be processed until Monday.  We are closed on 25th and 26th December.

    Non-Delivery

    Returns

    At Cunningham’s we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

    In the event that your goods are the wrong size, you don’t like the colour, it is not as you expected or you simply don’t like it, you can return it to us for a full refund within 14 days. 

    Goods must be

    ·         Unused

    ·         In their original packaging

    ·         Have labels attached

    A returns form must be enclosed – returns forms can be downloaded from our web site.

    Please use a registered mail or guaranteed delivery service for all returns, as proof of postage is not proof of delivery.  You are responsible for goods in return.

    Human error does occur therefore if we have sent out the wrong colour/ size, Cunningham’s will refund your postage costs.  For any other reason the customer is responsible for any return postage costs.

    All refunds will be given as soon as possible, at the latest within 30 days, taking into account the original method of payment.  An email will be sent confirming that a refund has been processed. 

    You can still return goods after 14 days but no monetary refund will be given.  A credit note will be issued for the value of the goods.

    Exchange

    Should you require an exchange in size/ colour of the same item being returned please fill out the ‘exchange’ section on our returns form.  If you are within the UK and your purchase is under £35 you will need to provide us with a cheque for £5.00 payable to S R Cunningham Outdoor Centre or contact us with your credit/ debit details to cover the postage costs.  If you are outside of the UK you will need to cover the cost of postage for the destination we are posting to (see shipping chart).  Goods will not be dispatched until postage costs are paid.

    Faulty Goods

    In the event that your purchase is not as it should be or has developed a fault please return it to us.  Due to health and safety regulations we will only accept faulty goods in a hygienic and clean condition.  Goods which are excessively soiled will be returned to you at your expense.

    On receiving a faulty item, we will return it to our supplier for inspection – this can take up to 2 weeks.  Our supplier will submit a report to us and from that we will determine whether the item should be refunded, replaced or professionally repaired.  If your purchase is deemed faulty your postage costs will be reimbursed to you. 

    We sell quality outdoor brands and whilst we do appreciate faults do occur please note that everything has a natural lifetime.  A jacket purchased over 10 years ago that has been worn everyday may have reached the end of its lifetime.

    Please return any faulty items, complete with returns form and proof of purchase.  Goods will not be accepted without proof of purchase.

    All refunds will be given as soon as possible, at the latest within 30 days, taking into account the original method of payment.
